Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp

Mailchimp is my primary CRM tool and allows me as a solopreneur to better organize, communicate and automate my communications with my audience more effectively and consistently. I have a small audience and a small budget, but the Mailchimp platform itself provides great resources and tools that help me build my brand and nurture my audience despite my small size. Additionally, Mailchimp offers a number of additional educational opportunities to improve my marketing skills and increase conversion.

Pros

  • Offering suggestions and tips throughout the applications

Cons

  • Creating landing pages seems to have a totally different feel and experience than creating emails.
  • There is a kink in the journeys/automations. When I update emails with new graphics or info, the original email stills shows up on the preview. However, the correct e-mail is sent out when I do test e-mails.
  • The Canva integration/sync is nice, but takes a minute to load. I expect that will improve with time.
  • Helps me keep a healthy audience with various organizational tools allowing to sift out disengaged members to increase open rates.
Segmentation allows me to communicate to a specific subset of my audience and tailor communication for a more personalized experience. The predictive demographics and comparison provide some large context for how my marketing is functioning comparatively in the larger picture.

The integrations with my website and Canva help me streamline processes and reduce extra steps when working on other websites. Info from the external sites is easily transferred into Mailchimp for my marketing saving me time.
My company has remained small.
It has been a great resource for me, easy to use, with more tools than I have time to take advantage of.
