Overall Satisfaction with Sprout Social

We use Sprout Social primarily for publishing and reporting. Sprout Social makes the process easier and faster compared to the social media managment platform we have used before (Brandwatch). Especially, we appreciate the bulk scheduling options when the volume of posts is high. Reports are pretty simplistic but cover the necessary aspects for our clients.

Pros

  • You can make a post for many platforms simultaneously
  • Very intuitive - don't need a long time to onboard
  • Quick response from customer service

Cons

  • Bulk scheduling videos - right now only statics
  • Some post failing could be prevented if there are checks incorporated to qualify the post
  • Smart inbox is not that easy to navigate
  • Saves time on publishing and reporting - Positive
  • Sometime failed post - Negative
  • Easy campaign management
It's almost flawless! It is very intuitive and I rarely spend a lot of time looking for a feature. There are almost no glitches and they are addressed pretty quickly when some issues arise. I felt comfortable using it from day one! However, note that I mostly use publishing, reporting and Smart inbox features.
Sprout Social is much more affordable compared to Brandwatch, and we didn't use all the features for it anyway, so it felt like a great time to switch. Sprout Social scheduling is much easier and simpler and it takes me less time. I do prefer Brandwatch reports over Sprout Social's thought for it's functionality, customization and ability to share a live link.

It's relatively affordable platform for agencies with a handful of clients: if Social Media Service is offered as an add-on Sprout Social is great for managing a few clients at the time. There are great ways to separate different clients and customize reports with their logos. I can only judge the platform from the limit of our specific plan, but even on that level the platform works great.
