Overall Satisfaction with Squarespace

I use Squarespace as my website platform to direct people to my business, [...]. I host my blog, book club and information about my career mentoring services on my website. My website gives my business credibility and allows people to find out more about out my services.

Pros

  • User friendly
  • Aesthetically pleasing
  • Consistent

Cons

  • I do not like the upgrade in the editing software. I regret updating any of my pages to the fluid editor and won't update any of my pages that are still in the old editing style
  • Squarespace has allowed me to easily sell digital products, creating a viable passive income stream I would not have without my website
  • Squarespace has also lent credibility to my brand and allowed me to connect with my ideal clients.
I do not have much web designer experience, but I find it mostly easy to use. There are some things I would like to integrate into my design that I am unsure how to do, but overall I find it to be streamlined and user friendly.
I like Squarespace better if you are starting from scratch. I was able to use WordPress when it was an existing site and I just had to make updates, but would have a difficult time starting from the beginning and building a WordPress site.

Squarespace is a great platform if you are an inexperienced web designer and would like to build an aesthetically pleasing website. It is perfect for hosting a blog. I also use it to integrate with acuity scheduling, which has worked very well for me. I find it easy to upload and sell my digital products as well.
