Offering the gift cards definitely drove the number of appointments set. I was advertising in a trade journal, so I was hitting the right targets, but the gift card helped drive bookings.
The downside is that I had a pretty large percentage (about half) that were not serious buyers but rather "gift card hunters." This has nothing to do with Giftbit but it's a factor in my consideration of future advertising. Given that I was offering a $50 gift card for the meeting, the gift cards added up to a sizable portion of my ad budget.
If I'm going to offer a gift card, I'm going to use Giftbit.
