Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

We use ClickUp as the central hub for everything in our business. It replaced random WhatsApp messages, scattered Google Docs, and messy to-do lists. Now, all our tasks, processes, and team communication live in one place.
It’s not just for task management—we use it as a database too. Leases, tenants, customer onboarding, subscription tracking… even some personal stuff like project tracking and my scuba dive log live in ClickUp.

Pros

  • Some more advanced things can be a challenge
  • Formula fields are not available for dashboard graphs
  • Inbound webhooks
  • It saves time, but can also overwhelm. Needed to start limiting ClickUp time to not just waste time and be busy in ClickUp. Not always great for AD/HD.
Definitly great. Not using it for brainstorming as much, but with the teams working from home the chat, comments etc works great to allign team members.

I also love the fact that I can set up a task, make the due date recurring, add a good description or Clip/Loom and then forget about that and the team can handle the task.

ClickUp definitely helped us cut the clutter. Before, we were jumping between WhatsApp, Google Sheets, Docs, email, and random sticky notes. Now, most of that lives inside ClickUp.
We’ve built out templates for recurring work, set up automations to handle reminders and status updates, and linked everything back to tasks—so there’s less chasing and fewer dropped balls.
Instead of using five different tools, we’re using one that actually talks to itself. It’s not perfect (still a learning curve), but it’s simplified things a lot. We spend more time doing the work, not figuring out where the work lives.
It has been probably around 4 years. A big part of the decision between monday and ClickUp (CU) when we decided on a platform was the pricing model of CU was more suitable. There has been massive updates since we started using CU. So not sure how it stacks up now

I think any business can benefit from ClickUp. From small to enterprise. I started using ClickUp when it was still just me.
- It is well suited first of all for tasks
- I love the Doc
- Having all in one place
- Chat Replaced WhatsApp and Email for internal communication
