Overall Satisfaction with Contractor Foreman
We use Contractor Foreman for estimating and job costing. We are a residential and commercial construction remodeling company. Since we have switched from Job Nimbus to Contractor Foreman are gross profits have gone up now that we have the ability to monitor job costs in real time rather than waiting on reports after the project is complete and it's too late to make adjustments.
Pros
- Estimating
- Job Costing
- Employee time tracking
- Job Scope communications with subcontractors
Cons
- Modules need to have same user flow for easy of use
- Initial Template creation is time consuming
- Having to refresh pages constantly to keep data accurate is an annoyance
- gross profits are up average of 5%
- reduced software costs savings of $1500 annually
- Customer satisfaction is up as project run smoother now
Combines everything into one software. CRM, Estimating, Project Management, Job Costing all in one. We prefer to train people on one software rather than several. When everyone is using the same program it's easier for team collaboration. It also eliminates the excuse the I am waiting on estimator to share project information with me as well as the excuse I didn't see that it must not have transferred into my system or he changed in after giving it to me. As you are all working in the same software and you can see the timeline of what was done and who did it.
