Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use GoTo Webinar to hold training classes remotely. This allows us to reach out to people anywhere, regardless of distance.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Very easy to use.
No cost to those who are using the software to view the webinar.
Low system requirements and the ability to use a Mac or PC.

Cons

From our perspective, it works exceptionally well. So, I can't think of anything that could be done better.

Return on Investment

It enables us to reach people that would otherwise be impossible due to distance restrictions.
The recording option allows those who can't attend the ability to watch later so they don't miss out.

Usability

It's straightforward and easy to use. From the webinar interface for hosting/presenting to the simplicity of access for a viewer, it's not complicated or awkward to navigate at all.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex DX80 (discontinued)

GoTo Webinar works very much like Microsoft Teams for meetings. The features of each are very comparable. However, GoTo Webinar's pricing model is more affordable.
