Overall Satisfaction with Contractor Foreman

Contractor Foreman helps us centralize all our documents and communicate the status of our project more effectively. It is also helping us with more effective book keeping and managing our finances. The job costing is super easy to use and the quotes we send to customers are super easy to understand.

Pros

  • build estimates
  • track change orders
  • assign tasks to team members

Cons

  • would be hard to understand with out guided training
  • quickbooks integration seems challenging
  • the safety portion could be more robust
  • Gets my team on the same page
  • easy to access files in the field
  • time cards make payroll easy
There is a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, working in the system is super easy.

D-tools has a nicer UI but is very specific to the CI industry. Since we moved into the solar business primarily it no longer met our needs.
