We don't have a formal marketing program so Mailchimp is our go to solution. I suppose if we wanted to expand our marketing to leverage social media tools like X, Instagram, FB, etc., then it would be nice to have those options built in, but we don't so, we don't find anything missing from Mailchimp. It looks like Mailchimp integrates with CRM tools which might be something we may want to leverage in the future.

This is what we do, so we've never needed Mailchimp to create landing pages or a website page. I thought that the experiments with reselling advertising were ill-advised. I'm not a fan of integrated platforms because my experience with them is that the additional products are merely good enough and that the value comes from convenience, not functionality.

Mailchimp is the best email marketing tool for beginners.

Well I have been using Mailchimp since before it was an all in one marketing platform. So I still consider it as a go to for email marketing. At this stage and with my limited knowledge I would never simply rely on a single platform for my marketing since there are other platforms out there such as Hubspot with may offer other features that I would like to add to my portfolio when it comes to marketing.

A Great Starter Platform for Those Just Getting Started.

MailChimp has all the basic functionality one would expect from an all-in-one marketing platform but none of the features are robust enough for us to recommend it over other platforms to our clients. While it is relatively cheap if you have a small database, and great if you only want to send relatively simple email newsletters and do basic automations, especially for ecommerce, but for experienced marketers, the feature set just isn't robust enough. Definitely great as an intro platform
